 360Learning - Late Night Help Needed!

Hello, all,

I'm running out of time on a deadline and know my 360Learning Rep won't be able to assist me in time. I'm trying to find out if there's someone who's still up and plugging away at work (like me!) who knows 360Learning well. I'm happy to explain further what I need assistance with and even jump on a call.

I'm trying to put four courses with four knowledge checks into four paths and then those four paths into a singular path. Easiest way to do this is to say:

  • Course A + Knowledge Check A + Certificate = Path A
  • Course B + Knowledge Check B + Certificate = Path B
  • Course C + Knowledge Check C + Certificate = Path C
  • Course D + Knowledge Check D + Certificate = Path D
  • Then, Path E contains Paths A, B, C, and D.

What I can never quite figure out properly from that point is the mandatory replay configurations. I need my learners to take all of that content again in a year. Do I need mandatory replay on each path and then also Path E? Also, this year - for some reason - my certificates were renewing for learners after 12 months even though the learners hadn't retaken the path. It was just like once the certificate expired, it renewed and GAVE CREDIT to the learner again (so yea, that was a hot mess!)

Hi Janice,

Sorry I wasn't up late working last night. There may be some other things happening. I use "mandatory replay" on several of our paths. I'm not sure what I'm considering will fix your issues but they might help. A few settings to check:

  1. Yes, set up each path for "Mandatory Replay." I'm not sure if Path E needs mandatory replay but for sure Paths A - D need it. You might want to do a test path that is extremely short and enroll yourself in it to see if you need to do Path E also. I think Mandatory Replay is for individual courses rather than sub-paths in a parent path.
  2. Check your "Session Settings" to make sure "Automatic Re-enrollment" is checked and it is based on "their next certificate expiration date." You can determine how many days before their certificate expires that you want them to be reenrolled.
  3. Make sure the courses with the knowledge checks have a minimum score to ensure that certificates aren't given out without completing the training.
  4. Double check how long the certificate for each path is good for.
