 Virtual Training Question

Hello,

I work for a credit union that employs 125 people. We are looking to invest and grow in virtual trainings we offer for onboarding and continued development. Does anyone have recommendations on how to best implement this and what LMS/software they utilize for engaged virtual trainings?

Thanks,

Lohana

Hi Lohana,

I also work at a credit union that's about the same size as yours, and we use BAI by ProSight as our main Learning Management System (LMS). It's a really handy platform where we can keep all our internal materials organized, plus it has a bunch of preloaded content focused on banking and credit union topics.

For virtual training, in my previous role with Wayfair, we used Google Classroom! It’s a great option as a starting-point LMS since it lets you upload videos and documents easily. The real-time data analytics are super helpful for learners who prefer to go at their own pace. It pairs perfectly with Google Meet for those live calls.

If you happen to be using Office 365, I’ve heard good things about "Viva" Learning. It looks promising, especially since it integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Teams, though I haven’t had the chance to try it out myself.

Hopefully this helps & feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

As far as authoring virtual trainings, I would suggest Articulate 360 with AI enabled.  There are two options...Rise for quick authoring and StoryLine for more robust training.  I would also suggest Camtasia for creating and editing videos if that is something you want to include.

We use Bridge as our LMS, but our company is over 25K employees and that might be more than you need for the size of your organization.
